Health, social and tourism policies: which synergies are possible?
The CPMR Balkan and Black Sea Commission (BBSC) will participate in the conference focused on “Health, social and tourism policies: which synergies are possible?”, in Jesolo (Veneto Region, Italy) on 29 September 2017, and will be represented by its member region of Central Macedonia (GR), Coordinator of the BBSC Working Group on Tourism.
The event is organised by the Programma Mattone Internazionale Salute-ProMIS, the network which involves all Italian Regions and the Ministry of Health, whose purpose is the internationalisation of the Italian Regional Healthcare Systems.
This first conference meeting aims to analyse the concept of “Medical Tourism” by bringing to light good practices and positive experiences in different Member States.
During a round table, the BBSC will have the opportunity to present the good practices from its member regions in the Balkan and Black Sea area. Among participants, the representatives from the OECD, the Ministries of Health and Tourism, the academic world and the tourism sector will take part in the event among others.
